Cafe Spin is a social voice-chat application. This page publishes our externally available standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), as required by Google Play for apps in social and communication categories.
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any content or behavior that endangers children. These standards apply to the Cafe Spin mobile app, our website, and all related services.
1. Age Requirement
- Cafe Spin is not directed to children under 13 and is not designed for use by children.
- Users under 13 are not permitted to create or use accounts.
- If we learn that a user is under 13, we may suspend or permanently remove the account and associated data.
- We encourage parents and guardians to supervise minors’ use of online services.
2. Prohibited Content and Conduct (CSAE)
The following are strictly prohibited on Cafe Spin:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form, including images, video, audio, text, or links
- Grooming, sexualization, or exploitation of minors
- Content that facilitates or promotes child abuse or exploitation
- Sharing, requesting, or distributing material that sexualizes children
- Impersonation of minors for harmful or sexual purposes
- Any other conduct that violates child safety laws or platform rules
Violations result in immediate content removal, account suspension or permanent ban, and reporting to appropriate authorities where required by law.
3. Prevention and Moderation
Cafe Spin uses technical and operational measures to reduce CSAE risk, including:
- In-app reporting — users can report profiles, messages, and room behavior
- User blocking — users can block others to stop unwanted contact
- Moderation review — reported content and accounts are reviewed by our team
- Automated safeguards — technical controls to limit abuse (rate limits, bans, access controls)
- Community guidelines enforcement — violations may lead to warnings, suspension, or permanent removal
- Room and account restrictions — moderators and automated systems can restrict harmful actors
We do not permanently store ordinary live voice-room audio by default. Where legally required or necessary for safety investigations, we may preserve limited evidence in accordance with applicable law.
4. Reporting by Users
Users can report concerns inside the app, including:
- Inappropriate behavior in voice rooms
- Harassment, threats, or abusive messages
- Suspected CSAM or child endangerment
- Profiles or accounts that appear to involve minors in violation of our age policy
Reports are reviewed as a priority when they involve child safety. We may take immediate action while an investigation is ongoing.
5. Response and Enforcement
When CSAE or CSAM is identified or credibly reported, Cafe Spin will:
- Remove violating content without delay
- Suspend or permanently terminate responsible accounts
- Preserve relevant information as required for legal and safety purposes
- Cooperate with law enforcement and authorized child-protection organizations when required by law
- Comply with applicable reporting obligations in relevant jurisdictions
6. Cooperation with Authorities
Cafe Spin cooperates with law enforcement and recognized child-protection bodies in accordance with applicable laws. We take child safety reports seriously and respond to valid legal requests related to CSAE and CSAM.
